(1) In accordance with Art. 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1103/97, the conversion from levs to euros shall be carried out by dividing the numerical value in levs by the full numerical value of the official exchange rate, expressed in six digits with all five decimal places.

(2) The official exchange rate shall not be rounded or truncated when performing the conversion. Rounding rule Art. 13. (1) In accordance with Art. 4 and 5 of Regulation (EC) No 1103/97, after conversion pursuant to Art. 12, the amount obtained shall be rounded to the second decimal place on the basis of the third decimal place in accordance with the following mathematical rounding rule: 1. where the third decimal place is less than five, the second decimal place shall remain unchanged; 2. when the third decimal place is equal to or greater than five, the second decimal place shall be increased by one unit. (2) An exception to the rule under paragraph 1 concerning the decimal place on the basis of which rounding is carried out shall be permitted only where this or another law or legal act of the European Union provides for rounding to a decimal place other than that specified in paragraph 1.
